Meeting
ACTION: Alderman Hermes made a motion and Alderman Strong seconded to open the meeting at 6:31 p.m. All yes. Motion passed.
DISCUSSION: Approval of Financial Reports
ACTION: Alderman Johnston made a motion and Alderman Hoppe
seconded to approve the April Collector’s Report in the amount of $181,588.16
and the April Payables in the amount of $197,126.28. All yes. Motion passed.
DISCUSSION: Update on Budget
ACTION: Theobald stated budget binders are complete
and ready for everyone to pick up. The budget workshop will be held on May 23
at 5:30 p.m.
DISCUSSION: Miscellaneous
ACTION: School/Park
Land/Cash Appraisal – Plese
stated that the school and park districts worked with an outside firm to
evaluate land value per acre. The cost
per acre is now $105,000. Plese asked
that the Ordinance & License Committee review the report so the City can
move forward to amend the current ordinance.
