DISCUSSION:           Open Meeting

 

ACTION:                   Alderman Plese opened the meeting at 6:31 p.m.

 

DISCUSSION:           Approval of Financial Reports

 

ACTION:                   Alderman Plese made a motion and Alderman Hermes seconded to Approve the October Payables in the amount of $399,113.59 and the October Collectors Report in the amount of $188,279.66.  All yes. Motion passed.

 

DISCUSSION:           Treasurer/Finance Director

 

ACTION:                   Mahoney explained that is was important to spell out the separate duties of the two offices if in fact one person from the city would be doing these jobs.  He asked Puracchio to fax over the duties of Finance Director so his office could write up an ordinance.  He stated that the Mayor could appoint the position of Treasurer tonight because last year an ordinance was created for this position to be an appointed one.
