DISCUSSION:           Catfish Day Garbage bill

ACTION:                   Orr had previously asked if the City could pay the bill now and he would reimburse the City when his committee met. At the time of the meeting Orr explained that the committee had paid the bill.  After some discussion on Catfish Days finances the Committee asked Orr to present a financial statement and they would revisit the City’s contributions.

DISCUSSION:           Bowler Lien

ACTION:                   The lien for $16,000 was an accrued amount for legal services.  The Ordinance & License Committee had reviewed this and was asking if the Council would be interested in forgiving the lien due to extenuating circumstances and hardship on owner. Attorney Mahoney warned the Committee on doing this.  The whole intent was the demolition of a building that has been an eyesore for over five years and the City needs to stay focused on that.  The Committee discussed a possible reduction in the lien if the buyer could give them a timetable as to when the building would be demolished.

DISCUSSION:           Adjourn
