DISCUSSION: Minutes
ACTION: Alderman Hermes made a motion and Alderman Mietzner seconded to Open the meeting at 6:35 p.m. All yes. Motion passed.
Alderman Strong made a motion and Alderman Mietzner seconded to approve the minutes as written and have them placed on file. All yes. Motion passed.
DISCUSSION: Approval of Financial Reports
ACTION: Hermes asked anyone if they had any comments
on the financial report. Theobald
stated that everyone is keeping within their budget and she is working on next
year’s budget. She requested that the
aldermen let her know of budget items they would like to add or comment on.
Plese requested that the city remain diligent on sticking to the budget and not
allocate monies that have not been budgeted for. Puracchio stated she would
like the aldermen to give her a City wish list. With the new industrial parks comes new businesses and the city
would like to work alongside these businesses on projects that would benefit
the city.
DISCUSSION: Cellular Service
ACTION: Orr asked when the last time the cellular service was audited. Theobald stated that Deputy Chief Boyle had an audit completed last year at substantial savings to the city.
DISCUSSION: Eagle Hotel
ACTION: Attorney Hanson stated the closing took place over a year after the
contract was due to pending grant funding.
McIntyre
distributed his 2007 Goals document.
