DISCUSSION:           Minutes

 

ACTION:                   Alderman Hermes made a motion and Alderman Mietzner seconded to Open the meeting at 6:33 p.m.  All yes. Motion passed.

 

                                    Alderman Mietzner made a motion and Alderman Gilmour seconded to approve the minutes as written and have them placed on file. All yes. Motion passed.

 

DISCUSSION:           Approval of Financial Reports

 

ACTION:                   Hermes asked anyone if they had any comments on the financial report.  Theobald explained that all Departments are working on their budget and hope to have budget meetings in May

 

DISCUSSION:           Deer Ridge SSA issue

 

ACTION:                   McIntyre explained the SSA process.  Beth Tryon, President of the homeowners association stated that they were not supposed to get a quote as outlined in McIntyre’s handout and the Committee agreed that when the City starts their road resurfacing project Deer Ridge’s roads will be included.  Mahoney informed the Committee that the County is looking at eliminating SSA collections and the City needs to put a collection process in place that will cover those costs. The issue of drainage was also brought up and the homeowners association felt there were none.  City Engineer will assess the roads and write up an opinion on what needs to be done to bring the roads up to city standards.
