ACTION: Alderman Orr made a motion and Alderman Strong seconded to open the meeting at 6:32 p.m. All yes. Motion passed.
Alderman Mietzner made a motion and Alderman Hoppe seconded to approve the minutes as presented and have them placed on file. All yes. Motion passed.
DISCUSSION: Subdivision Ordinances
ACTION: Mietzner asked that McIntyre/Tate research what other City’s do with construction waste. Tate and Mietzner would like to see a dumpster be mandatory.
There will be a meeting with McIntyre, Tate and the City Attorney to go over the revisions and put into ordinance form.
DISCUSSION: Park
District Ordinance
ACTION: See attached. Orr made changes based off the discussions from the last meeting. The park has not reviewed the ordinance at this stage. The study of what surrounding like socio-economic areas pay for impact fees will also be discussed at the next meeting.
DISCUSSION: Vicious
Dog Issue
ACTION: The existing ordinances address this issue. The Committee felt that having the police department and public better educated on this issue would solve some of the confusion. Research shows (see attached) that most vicious acts are from unneutered males. The Committee discussed implementing an additional $10 fee for unneutered animals and the proceeds would go to the local human society for neutering expenses.

ACTION: The Committee took no action and requested additional information for the next meeting.
