ACTION: Alderman Gilmour made a motion and Alderman Kasalko
seconded to open discussions at 5:33 pm. All yes. Motion passed.
Alderman Gilmour made a motion and Alderman Strong seconded to Approve the minutes of the March 8, 2005 meeting as presented and have them placed on file. Kasalko passed, all others yes. Motion passed.
ACTION: The owner’s were not present.
ACTION: See attached memo. The Committee decided to charge the debt service, meter replacement and garbage fees to the residents that leave for long periods of time since the City is responsible for these payments. Nelis was going to check with the Finance Department to see if this would be computer doable.
DISCUSSION: Trailer
ACTION: See attached documents. The City has responded to the trailer owners attorney that it need a letter verifying that the owner’s mother was within legal rights to sell her daughter’s property.

Homes and Other Issues
ACTION: The Committee heard a report on the house on Joliet Street. The City is pursuing condemnation proceedings. The Committee discussed other house issues and Nelis will look into these and report back to Committee.

ACTION: Alderman Gilmour made a motion and Alderman Kasalko seconded to adjourn the meeting at 6:05 p.m. All yes. Motion passed.
