ACTION: Alderman Mietzner made a motion and Alderman Strong seconded to open the meeting at 6:08 p.m. All yes. Motion passed.

DISCUSSION: Burn Ordinance
ACTION: The attorney is now reviewing.

Code Changes
ACTION: Tate presented some information on insulation codes due to the change in energy efficient buildings. He also presented a 2006 performance compliance list to the committee. He would also like to amend the ordinance to include business key boxes. The Committee asked Tate to present the changes in ordinance form for review at the next Committee meeting.

ACTION: McIntyre stated that he will check with other communities. Puracchio relayed that the attorney is already researching this.

ACTION: Trailer-Lombardi’s – Tate said Lombardi said he will be removing it in the summer.
Building/Inspection Fees – City staff will be reviewing these fees. Currently it appears that Wilmington’s fees are lower than the surrounding communities.
Park Fee – Orr stated that he wants to comprehend the park impact fee and was wondering if the park could use school numbers. The park is currently working with the school in developing some numbers.
The method of payment for impact fees needs to be agreed on before Oakwest and Prairie Farms come on line. McIntyre and Friddle will have to discuss a plan.
Orr also asked about park hours. The attorney is working on an ordinance.
McIntyre brought up the Façade Improvement Ordinance. Orr asked that he strike Section one – cost sharing blanks since it is mention in the prior paragraph. The Committee told McIntyre to get it to attorney and they will bring it to a first read at the council meeting subject to attorney approval.
Historical Ad Hoc Committee – Orr told McIntyre to discuss this with the Mayor.
