DISCUSSION:           ESDA Portable Radios

ACTION:                   Houseman stated that the radios they are using need to be updated.  He would like to purchase 6 ICOM portable waterproof radios that come with 6 chargers, software program, earphones and adapters and a 2 year warranty for the cost of $2,437 or 3 year warranty of $2,683.25.  He has budgeted for $2,500.  The Committee looked over the ESDA budget and will advise the full Council to have ESDA purchase the radios with the 3 year warranty due to the fact there is some miscellaneous money available in the ESDA budget.  The Committee also praised Houseman and ESDA for the excellent job they are doing and being very fiscally responsible.
