DISCUSSION: Sidewalks
ACTION: The City crew at this time is working on S. Outer and Joliet Streets repairing sidewalks that have been on the City sidewalk share program. A resident had asked several years ago if the City could do the sidewalk in front of the N. Joliet Street Duplex. Gary will look into this.
DISCUSSION: Superintendent Report
ACTION: Gary asked that the City consider the Committee look into the situation on Sunset and Roberts. It would take some money to repair and it really needs a 24-36 inch tile to be run through the ditch system.
The Ropp subdivision has no curbs or gutters and Gary has been working with a resident to relieve a water situation. The Committee hopes with a new development coming out there that they could properly address this issue.
Gary stated that since a Push Machine wasn’t budgeted for this year that it would give him some time to look around to see what’s out there. He received one bid for $15,000. He would look into this further.
If tomorrow allows it Gary will like to go over to the high school and repair some potholes there.
