DISCUSSION:           Minutes

 

ACTION:                   Due to lack of a quorum the meeting was strictly informational.

 

DISCUSSION:           Sewer Plant

 

ACTION:                   Benner gave an update on the new sewer treatment plant.  All the paperwork is in except for the easement permit signature document.  Easements have been obtained just need to be signed. Timeframe for sewer plant is bids out by the end of January 07, groundbreaking in April 07.

 

DISCUSSION:           James fence/water line issue

                                                           

ACTION:                   According to past records the original owner of the house was aware the pipe was installed.  It was his responsibility to inform the new homeowner that a water line existed.  McIntyre will check with attorney about the easement issue.

 

DISCUSSION:           Embassy Care Water Bill

                                                           

ACTION:                   The Committee will no longer entertain this subject.  The owner has been given a correct bill and he will be expected to pay it.  McIntyre is in charge of this process and will write a letter and send it certified as well as through regular mail stating these facts. Theobald stated that she went over his historical numbers as well as current numbers and the facility is using 500,000 gallons per month.

 

 

 

 

DISCUSSION:           Miscellaneous

                                                           

ACTION:                   Trailer park - Van Duyne asked if the Council has put a deadline on the closure to the trailer park.  At this time a definitive date has not been set.

                                    Screens in Phase One of Kahler Ridge – Van Duyne stated he was never asked to cut those out and was wondering if he could do so.  The Committee stated that Phase One has been approved by the engineer so cut the screens out.

                                    Booster Pump – Jeffries stated that the crew installed the pumps in the lift station at the JADA site.  They will be testing the water system within the next week or so in anticipation of turning the water on for the 150 Operator site.
