Property on Debbie & Vista
ACTION: Walinski explained that he was misinformed from his attorney as to his using the city road (which is currently not used and highly unlikely to be used) to build his garage driveway on. He would like the city to grant him access to his garage. His plan is to build a 100 foot driveway that he will pay for and maintain. Orr asked that the city engineer look over for any water mitigation issues before the city agreed to any arrangement. The city could enter into a possible lease agreement and John will check with the city attorney as well as the engineer on this subject and report back at the next committee meeting.
DISCUSSION: Miscellaneous
ACTION: Brick for the lighting project – Orr asked if the brick from the pump house could be used for the downtown lighting project. The committee also discussed phase two of the project going north on RT53 and the Mayor would like to see it going south on RT53 because the big bridge is not lighted.
Downtown Parking – Parking was once again discussed as a safety issue in the downtown area. Orr suggested if the parking was going to be changed to parallel parking; the municipal parking sign located next to old city hall needs to be changed to public parking to eliminate any confusion.
DISCUSSION: Adjournment
