DISCUSSION: Minutes
ACTION: Alderman Hermes made a motion and Alderman Combes seconded to Open the meeting at 5:30 p.m. All yes. Motion passed.
Alderman Strong made a motion and Alderman Hermes seconded to Approve the minutes the January 10, 2007 meeting and have them placed on file. All yes. Motion passed.
DISCUSSION: T-Mobile Contract
ACTION: McIntyre stated that T-Mobile wanted to reduce their
contract agreement. The committee asked
why they would want to enter into that discussion since the contract is a new
one and directed McIntyre to turn down the request.
DISCUSSION: Deer
Ridge
ACTION: The residents were asking what the next step was in the
road improvement process. The committee
directed McIntyre to meet with them to talk about SSA’s. Committee agreed that their road improvement
project could be dovetailed with the City’s road improvements.
DISCUSSION: Walinski
Property on Debbie & Vista
ACTION: Committee stated that McIntyre had been directed to handle this at the last meeting and asked him to follow through with it.
DISCUSSION: Water Tower
ACTION: Scheduled to be dismantled 3rd or 4th week of this month.
DISCUSSION: Selection of streets and sidewalks
ACTION: Van Duyne requested that Aldermen get him a list of improvement areas to him. He also stated that the city needed to repair some alley ways this year. The committee agreed and will get him a list of streets. Some suggestions were S. Joliet St, two other streets were on a list to be repaired by a developer or in a long range MFT project
DISCUSSION: Budget Items
ACTION: The roof at the old city hall building, pipe through the ditch on Debbie Lane.
Puracchio stated the city needs to do a feasibility study on the buildings the city owns. Monies need to be allocated for their maintenance or the buildings need to be sold.
