BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR:
C James Reeves, President of the Wilmington Rotary Club, was selected Business Person of the Year for 2007 by the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
Jim, director of Reeves Funeral Home, is the fourth Rotarian to be selected, an honor well deserved.

In the tradition of Rotary all the recipietns are very involved in community activities.

Events: Dinner Theatre
Rotary's 5th annual dinner theatre and
silent auction will be held Saturday,
evening, December 13, 2008. Local non-
professional performers will present its program at the Wilmington
High School. The play will follow a
dinner catered by formal attired Rotarians
along with a silent auction. The silent
auction consists of sponsored gift baskets
generously prepared by Court Yard Candles
in Wilmington. Be sure to make your
reservations early since there are a limited
number of seats which sell out well before

Wilmington Rotary Cruise - Charity Car, Motorcycle, and Truck Show, 2008
June 21, 2008 (rain date 06/28/08) and August 16, 2008 (rain date 08/23/08).
North Water Street in downtown Wilmington, Illinois on Historic Rte 66 (where route 102 meets route 53).
The event will begin at 6:00pm and awards will be given at 9:00pm. Gates open at 5:00 pm.
Showing Vehicles will pay $10 at the gate. Walking public is free.
T-shirts to 1st 50 vehicles, Dash Plaques to 1st 100 and Goodie Bags to the 1st 200.
Door prizes.
Trophies!
There will also be tickets sold for a "split the pot" cash drawing .
Music will be provided by a local D.J.
