BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR:
C James Reeves, President of the Wilmington Rotary Club, was selected Business Person of the Year for 2007 by the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
Jim, director of Reeves Funeral Home, is the fourth Rotarian to be selected, an honor well deserved.
Previous members selected were Bill Dennis, '99; Mike Cripe, '00; Steve Francis, '01
In the tradition of Rotary all the recipients are very involved in community activities.

Wilmington Community Band Concert
Wilmington Rotary is sponsoring several summer band concerts. the WILMINGTON COMMUNITY BAND
will perform on the lawn in the town park located one block west of South Water Street at the corner of
Vine and William Streets.
Each concert will be free and hosted by a local organization. Ice water and treats will be available.
Families are invited to bring a picnic lunch. Enjoy the music while the kids have fun on the playground
equipment.
All concerts will be held at 6 P.M., except, may 30th concert will be after the Memorial Day parade which starts at 2 P.M., AND the July 25th concert during Cat Fish Days. That concert will be at 2:30 P.M. with the American Legion Band concert at 4 P.M.

Wilmington Rotary Cruise - Charity Car, Motorcycle, and Truck Show, 2010
FIRST SHOW is Saturday evening, June 19th (rain date, June 26th), at Rte 53 and Water Street. Gate opens at 5 P.M. Show time is from 6 to 9 P.M. $10 per vehicle entry fee. Public walk-ins are free.

SECOND SHOW will be on the NORTH ISLAND along Rte 53 (old Rte 66) This will be on Sunday afternoon, August 22nd (rain date August 26th). Gate opens at 1 P.M. Show-time is from 2 to 5 P.M. $10 per vehicle entry. Public walk-ins are free.
We are glad to introduce "TILMAN'S TIGERS". Teams of 5 assemble a Running Model T and drive it off in 2 minutes or less. This great crowd-pleaser is conducted by the Midwest Model T Ford Club. Be sure to attend this scheduled 3 o'clock experience.
T-shirts are given to the first 50 vehicles entered. The first 100 will receive a dash plaque and goodie bag. 18 trophies are presented at both shows.
Come and enjoy family fun including free refreshments offered by the Wilmington High School INTERACT CLUB. Door Prizes, "Thank You Wilmington" RAFFLE, BEAN BAG contests, food vendors, Split-The-Pot RAFFLE, at both shows.
